Severe thunderstorms are likely today and tonight across the southern and central Plains into the lower to mid Missouri Valley. The most numerous/intense storms are expected from north Texas into Oklahoma and southeast Kansas, where strong tornadoes, very large hail of 2-3 inches in diameter and damaging winds of 60-80 mph are all possible.
Sunday, Apr 28
Severe thunderstorms are possible from east Texas into parts of the upper Mississippi Valley Sunday. Damaging winds, hail, and a few tornadoes, will all be possible.
Monday, Apr 29
Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible on Monday from parts of central and south Texas into the lower Mississippi Valley.

On My Future Radar, you can see the future. Or at least, what the weather forecast models think the future will be.

You are on the page that displays data from the NAM Hires forecast model. Currently, we have radar imagery for this model from now until .

About My Future Radar

My Future Radar uses data from the Rapid Refresh and the NAM forecast models to provide simulated future radar imagery.

The Rapid Refresh model is run hourly and is useful for short term forecasting. The North American Mesoscale Forecast System (NAM) is run 4 times a day and typically has data from now to 2.5 days in the future.
