Numerous severe thunderstorms appear likely Wednesday from parts of the mid Mississippi, Ohio, and Tennessee Valleys into the southern Plains. All severe hazards, including tornadoes, very large to giant hail, and potentially significant damaging winds are possible. Some of the tornadoes may be strong.
Thursday, May 9
Very large hail with multiple supercells appears probable across parts of north-central into central Texas Thursday afternoon and evening. A broader corridor of severe hail and damaging wind potential remains evident from the lower Mississippi Valley/Southeast into the Carolinas and Mid-Atlantic.
Friday, May 10
Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms may occur Friday across parts of the Southeast.

On My Future Radar, you can see the future. Or at least, what the weather forecast models think the future will be.

You are on the page that displays data from the NAM Hires forecast model. Currently, we have radar imagery for this model from now until .

About My Future Radar

My Future Radar uses data from the Rapid Refresh and the NAM forecast models to provide simulated future radar imagery.

The Rapid Refresh model is run hourly and is useful for short term forecasting. The North American Mesoscale Forecast System (NAM) is run 4 times a day and typically has data from now to 2.5 days in the future.
