Wednesday, May 14
Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms will occur over parts of the Dakotas and Nebraska this evening, and across far western Iowa and southwestern Minnesota overnight. Very large hail, severe wind gusts, and a couple of tornadoes will be possible. A few marginally severe storms may also occur from the Lower Ohio Valley into the Carolinas.
Thursday, May 15
Severe thunderstorms are expected across parts of the upper Mississippi River Valley and Great Lakes region Thursday afternoon and evening. The primary risk with this activity is large to very large hail, tornadoes (a couple may be strong), and scattered wind damage.
Friday, May 16
Severe thunderstorms are expected across the Middle Mississippi and Ohio Valley region Friday afternoon and evening. All-severe hazards are possible with this activity. More isolated severe thunderstorms will extend southwestward into northeast Texas, and northeast into the Mid-Atlantic.

On My Future Radar, you can see the future. Or at least, what the weather forecast models think the future will be.

You are on the page that displays data from the NAM Hires forecast model. Currently, we have radar imagery for this model from now until .

About My Future Radar

My Future Radar uses data from the Rapid Refresh and the NAM forecast models to provide simulated future radar imagery.

The Rapid Refresh model is run hourly and is useful for short term forecasting. The North American Mesoscale Forecast System (NAM) is run 4 times a day and typically has data from now to 2.5 days in the future.
